Construction General Manager & Business Development Manager
Summary of position/Objective:
The Construction General Manager
& Business Development Manager will oversee all aspects of construction,
assembly, and remodeling of buildings and infrastructure. This position
is also responsible for participating in the development of the strategic plan
and primarily responsible for the execution of the strategic and annual
business plan. Leading new business development is also a key part of
this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure implementation of the
strategy designed to grow the business
- Oversee the daily operations of
the business including projects from conception to completion, ensuring
prescribed timeframes and funding parameters are met
- Ensure the overall delivery and
quality of the business’ offerings
- Oversee all onsite and offsite
constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Ensure quality construction
standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate
risks
- Responsible for property
management of all PRK Williams entities including internal maintenance and
asset health
Competencies/Qualifications/Education:
- Advanced knowledge of construction management, processes,
means and methods.
- BS degree in construction management, architecture,
engineering, or related field
- 3+ years in a leadership role in the construction industry
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details
and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Ability to see the “big” picture
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Proven leadership of projects and employees
Certificates/Licenses/Registration:
The employee shall possess a valid driver’s license and must
be eligible for the agency’s vehicle insurance and provide proof of private
vehicle coverage.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Position does directly supervise employees.
Work Hours:
Hours are as required to meet the business plan. Office hours are 7:30-4:30 Monday through Friday.
Work Environment:
The work environment is consistent with similar office
environment settings and will include jobsite visits frequently.

that does not have level clean surfaces. This position requires the employee to
be able to drive a vehicle.

Travel:
Frequent travel within a 50-mile radius is expected for this
position. Occasionally travel beyond a 50-mile radius may be required,
including out of state travel.
