Program Manager - ASHER Program
The Program Manager provides
leadership and oversight for the ASHER Program
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
·
Assists with developing, promoting and tasking
the instructional cadre for ASHER Program deliveries.
·
Ensures currency and accuracy of the ASHER
curriculum
·
Incorporate current teaching techniques, subject
area developments, and current technology (if applicable) into the learning
experience
·
Provide classroom instruction in accordance with
approved curriculum as required
·
Prepare and evaluate skills, assignments,
projects, and examinations as required
·
Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills,
communication skills, and work ethic (i.e., preparation and punctuality)
·
Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment
to the mission and goals of the Alabama Fire College
·
Liaison effectively with applicable Technical
Review Committees
OTHER DUTIES

Participate in division/department meetings, and
discussions about curriculum, teaching-learning techniques, teaching materials,
and other instructional related activities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
·
Verifiable proof of expertise in the
appropriate field(s)
·
5 years prior experience instructing and/or
course development or a combination of the two required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
·
5 years tactical law enforcement experience preferred.
·
5 years tactical EMS experience
preferred.
