Summary of position/objective:

  • In this position you will contribute to our purpose by assisting our Construction & Remodeling entity as well as our To The Rescue entity

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and monitor job tracking reports daily and communicate with construction project manager to ensure compliance with budgets
  • Initiate follow up communications with construction customers regarding estimates, deposits, surveys etc.
  • Review project files for completeness of required information
  • Maintain required contractor insurance documents.  Communicate with contractors to obtain current information
  • Track construction job progress and inform accounting of weekly billing details
  • Act as liaison between construction and accounting departments
  • Set up new construction job estimates in Quick Books
  • Track construction change orders and enter information to Quick Books
  • Maintain list of required training/certifications
  • Organize and maintain individual representative payee documents both hard files and electronic
  • Submit all SSA required documentation for representative payee services
  • Communicate effectively with members 
  • Provide weekly list of checks to be issued from all payee bank accounts
  • Month end reconciliation of all payee bank accounts 
  • Facilitate receipt reconciliations for representative payee services
  • Confirm completeness of expense tracking and classification for representative payee services
  • Responsibilities related to setting up new payees including communication with SSA
  • Create and maintain filing systems
  • Assist with general office duties
  • Back-up role for Accounts Payable responsibilities


  • Excellent communication skills
  • Minimum of 1-year clerical accounting support
  • Experience in basic bookkeeping and tracking of financial transactions
  • 2-year accounting degree a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills


The employee shall possess a valid driver’s license and must be eligible for the agency’s vehicle insurance and provide proof of private vehicle coverage. 

Supervisory Responsibility:

This role will not directly supervise employees.

Work Hours:

Hours are varied depending on the needs of the organization.  Hours reflect those of typical business hours. 

Work Environment:

  • Specific vision requirements include close and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus
